Regulation on cable network activities to be prepared, Sancharaki

KABUL: Deputy minister of publication affairs for information and culture Fazil Sancharaki in a meeting with a number of members of cable networks union said regulation on cable networks’ activities would be prepared and processed.
In the meeting, participants by stressing on codification of the regulation asked for attention of MoIC in this regard.
Deputy minister of publication affairs for information and culture spoke related to exemption of media tax crimes and said MoIC would soon prepare the regulation.
Sancharaki stressed that tax crimes which have been exempted 100% based on presidential decree should be paid till 01 August, otherwise problem would be created in this regard.
Meanwhile, deputy of publications for MoIC Sayed Mahmoud Rad said that there were 207 cable networks throughout the country where six cable networks have been registered, emphasizing that all should register or renew their licenses. The Kabul Times
