APG members call on National Security Advisor

KABUL: Head and members of the Afghanistan Policy Group have met with the country’s National Security Advisor, Mohammad Hanif Atmar and discussed issues related to Afghanistan and regional political and security affairs, a statement from his office said Saturday.
Representing the group, Fahim Dashti provided details about the activities and increase in the members and posts of the group and said the entity wanted to visit Pakistan in the near future for discussing regional issues and meet with the neighboring country’s political and security authorities.
The national security advisor, Mohammad Hanif Atmar thanked the group’s head and members for their activities and called their hard works effective in creation and management of the regional issues.
The NSA also thanked the German Friedrich-Ebert Organization head for his cooperation to provide the ground for the activities of the group, the statement said.
