Sayed Jamaluddin Afghan’s thought belongs to Islamic world, Minister Safi

KABUL: To honor 90th anniversary of Afghanistan-Egypt friendly relations, a cultural and art exhibition as well as a movie festival is expected to be held in Kabul University, Bakhtar News Agency (BNA) reported on Sunday.
In a meeting held between Acting Minister of Information and Culture Hasina Safi and Egypt ambassador in Kabul, both sides discussed importance of this occasion, its growth and development, according to the agency.
Egypt ambassador also asked holding of Bakhtar Treasury exhibition in his country, BNA added.
Minister Safi said Afghanistan-Egypt historical and cultural relations had deep root in the history.
She asked Egypt ambassador to cooperate with the ministry of information and culture in providing scholarships in the fields of museum, archeology and journalism.
Furthermore, Egypt ambassador pointed out at Sayed Jamaluddin Afghan’s Statue which has been put into display in a great avenue in that country.
