UNESCO to hold workshop on intangible cultural heritages

UNESCO to hold workshop on intangible cultural heritages
 KABUL: United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) considers to hold a workshop on implementation of 2003 convention on protection of intangible cultural heritages, Bakhtar News Agency (BNA) reported.
This was stated by UNESCO representative in Kabul during a meeting with acting minister of information and culture Prof. Mohammad Rasoul Bawari, according to BNA.
Prof. Bawari said his ministry was fully ready to cooperate with UNESCO in holding the workshop and inviting experts, the agency added. 
He added prior to holding the workshop, the participants and people should get informed that the workshop would play key role in protection of intangible cultural heritages.
According to another report, acting minister of information and culture Prof. Bawari in a meeting with another UNESCO representative spoke about excavations and found relics from Logar Mis-e-Ainak historical sites. 
At the outset, UNESCO representative briefed Prof. Bawari on problems before implementation of the entity’s work plan. 
Afterward, Prof. Bawari asked the UNESCO representative to send its problems and work plan in a written letter to be addressed by the ministry of information and culture.
