Nowruz celebration means protection of culture, great civilization

 KABUL: In a special program held in Storay Palace of the ministry for foreign affairs  to mark Nawruz, Chief Executive Dr. Abdullah Abdullah said Nowruz was symbol of a culture and great civilization, Bakhtar News Agency (BNA) reported.
CE Abdullah added that Nawruz festival is the symbol of cohesion among the Nawruz zone people, according to BNA. 
Nawruz means new beginning and we are committed in ensuring Afghan people interests and dreams and to provide the ground for their better life, Dr. Abdullah went on to say. 
CE Abdullah said this year wouldn’t be void of challenges and problems, but the government leadership is focused to improve the situation, ensure peace and security throughout the country, the agency added. 
Lauding the international partners and donor countries on reconstruction and stability of Afghanistan, Dr. Abdullah said they played key role to tackle the current challenges, BNA continued. 
Likewise, foreign minister Salahuddin Rabbanisaid Nawruz was a historical day, and its position was beyond the region. He added due to regional meetings, Nowruz festival held with delay, BNA continued. 
Expressing glad over Nowruz celebration, Rabbani said we hoped New Year to be a messenger of peace and prosperity to the people of Afghanistan and millions of Nowruz zone people.
The program was held in the presence of cabinet ministers, foreign ambassadors and international organizations’ members.
