NSA Atmar, former Balkh governor holds telephone conversation
 KABUL: Atta Mohammad Noor, former governor of northern Balkh province on Saturday during a telephone contact with National Security Advisor said he was firmly supporting the national unity government and committed for its progress.
A statement from the National Security Council (NSC) said that National Security Advisor (NSA) Mohammad Hanif Atmar held telephone conversation with Atta Mohammad Noor on Friday evening. Noor’s services and achievements are appreciable, and his decisions were always reasonable in critical conditions of the country, NSA Atmar was quoted as saying in the statement. “I respect Noor as a political leader in this country, his political role is important in the country’s development and the government’s strength,” NSA said. Atta Mohammad Noor thanked the NSA for the telephone conversation and said he always worked for the interests of Afghanistan and its people.  He said that he would strongly support the government and committed for its empowerment and improvement.
