Political parties play constructive role in democracy process, CE Abdullah

 KABUL: Chief Executive Dr. Abdullah Abdullah met with the leading body of Islamic Movement Party (Hezbi Harakat-e-Islami), during which both sides exchanged view on the country’s ongoing situation and security-political changes, CE office said in a statement the other day. 
During the meeting, CE Abdullah said political parties, particularly Islamic Movement Party have played constructive role in strengthening democracy and effective state-building, the statement further said. 
Besides, head of the party, Abdul Ghani Kazemi shared the people demands, suggestions and problems in some provinces, the statement added.
The participants proposed their views and suggestions on tackling people problems and the country’s ongoing situation and asked CE to pay serious heed in the respect, the statement went on to say. 
Condemning the recent terrorist attack in Kabul’s 6th PD, Dr. Abdullah asked the party’s leading body to make effort on providing voters’ list to succeed voters’ registration process and thwart enemy’s vicious designs, the statement continued. 
He assured the party, he would consider the proposed issues in future plans and decisions, the statement concluded.
