President Ghani accepts credentials of new Indian Ambassador To Afghanistan

 KABUL: The President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Mohammad Ashraf Ghani accepted the credentials of newly appointed ambassador of India to Kabul Vinay Kumar during a ceremonial guard of honor held in the Presidential Palace yesterday morning, a presidential statement said.Both sides discussed expansion of mutual relations and cooperation in different spheres.
Alluding to Afghanistan-India friendly relations, President Ghani said, “India is a good and strategic friend of Afghanistan.” 
The President wished Ambassador Kumar further success in his new career in Afghanistan.
Vinay Kumar evincing delight over his posting in Afghanistan remarked that Afghanistan and India are enjoying friendly ties and wide-ranging cooperation more than ever. He assured that he will strive to bolster Afghan-Indian ties and cooperation during his mission, the statement added.
