 KABUL: High Council of Land and Water (HCLW)with President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani on the chair held session here on Sunday and discussed issues related toestablishment of private industries and real estate companies, investment and agreement on Montreal for protecting of ozone layer, a presidential statement said.
During the meeting Chief Executive Dr. Abdullah, deputy minister of commerce and industries, Abdul Hamid Helmandi advisor to president, deputy of chamber of commerce and industries and president of the craftsmen association expressed their views on draft for establishment of sites for the private industries.
After detailed discussions, the session sent back the draft for detailed review to ease investment in the provinces too, the statement added, quoting the president saying that industrial drafts should also consider businesswomen.
The High Council of Land and water also rejected the draft on real estate companies’ establishment, sayingtheground was not paved for its implementation at the moment.
The session also emphasized on low management of government properties, adding ministry of finance, land authority and national procurement authority didn’t have particular responsive plans, instructing the organs to prepare plan on management and proper use of the government properties. Later the council discussed and approved agreement on Montreal protection of ozone layer which was presented by the National Environment Protection Agency. The agreement included ban on importationof Hydrochloric Fluorocarbon air conditioners, reduction in energy consumption and promotion of environment compatible devices.
