Council of Ministers condemn terrorist attack on journalists

 KABUL: CE Dr. Abdullah Abdullah chaired the meeting of the Council of Ministers, on Tuesday condemning the recent terrorist attacks that left tens of Afghan citizens including nine journalists martyred in the capital Kabul, a statement said.
The meeting which was held at the Sapidar Palace, the CE condemned the terrorist attacks that left nine media persons among tens of Kabul citizens dead and said terrorist were not abided by any law or Islamic teaching and human values. “They are the enemy of the entire people of Afghanistan and both the people of Afghanistan and the international community have expressed their abhorrence towards the attack and called it a crime against human.”
Praising the courage of the media workers to cover any incidents during though conditions, the CE asked the security organs to take firm plan for the security of the people and their property.
According to the security officials attended the meeting, up to 590 militants were killed and 41 others detained during the recent counterterrorist operation in various parts of the country.
