‘Fighting terrorism, holding parliamentary elections govt’s top priorities’

 KABUL: In a ceremony attended by acting minister of education Dr. Mirwais Balkhi, a number of national assembly members, deputy minister of technical and vocational educations, head and other in-charges of the education ministry, government, non-government and media deputies and representatives, second vice president Sarwar Danesh officially introduced Nadima Sahar as head of technical and vocational educations administration, Bakhtar News Agency reported on Monday. 
Addressing the ceremony, second VP said fighting terrorism, management and holding parliamentary elections, economic projects’ management, reforming governance way and expansion of higher education system were the basic priorities of the government this year, according to BNA. 
He also said the terrorists have rejected the peace proposal of the Afghan government and with killing innocent people, they want to create distance between the government and people, adding both the nation and the government in a single row, with all possible means have always fought against the enemies and they won’t allow them to dominate the Afghan people destiny, the agency added. 
He pointed out that proper managing of current year’s election is another priority of the government, because, election is the main pillar of democracy and is the only way to peaceful transferring of power in the country. 
He stressed that the government of national unity is serious and decisive to hold both parliamentary and presidential elections on their due time, adding but the enemies, with suicide attacks and explosions want to hinder the people in determining their political destiny.  During the ceremony, acting minister of education called the efforts made to improve quality of technical and vocational educations important. 
Thanking the government’s leadership for choosing her, Nadima Sahar promised to prioritize the second VP’s guidelines. At the end, deputy minister of technical and vocational educations Mr. Formuli expressed glad over the government leadership’s attention in term of bolstering technical and vocational educations.
