“TAPI leads us from poverty to prosperity”
 A number of people and economic experts are believe that practicing of this project would help to joint fight against terrorism, regional economic expansion, improve security situation, and to establish regional consensus.
Saifuddin Saihoon, an economic expert in this connection told The Kabul Times reporter that without doubt inaugurating of such projects in this juncture of time where thousands of our youth are unemployed have important role and this is a good opportunity for the people to use in their interests.
Meanwhile, the Kabul citizens also welcomed inauguration of this major project and say that without war and blood shedding Afghanistan could gain good improvements such as TAPI project.
Saber, a Kabul resident in this regard said that by inauguration of this project we hoped that Afghanistan to have better economic future.
Mursal, a student of Kabul University stated that we welcomed any projects which are in peoples and Afghanistan interest, because the great nation of this land since long time had been burning in the flame of war.
Today, thousands of youth are looking for jobs, so TAPI project can create better employment ground for the people, Mursal asserted.
Wahid, another Kabul resident says that by implementing this project changes will come in gas price.
Addressing the opening ceremony in Herat, President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani said that TAPI to bring peace and stability in the country and would create job opportunities as well as increase the country’s revenues.
“We don’t have enmity with any country. National interest is our priority and we want to be the focal point of regional cooperation,” the president added. Afghan officials say that beside transmission of gas from Turkmenistan to India via Afghanistan and Pakistan soil, but also it includes transmission of 500KV electricity from Turkmenistan to Pakistan via Afghanistan, Fiber Optic and Railway project.
It is worth mentioning that the TAPI project will be completed in 2019 in Afghanistan, also Turkmenistan has pledged to cooperate with this country in practicing of other projects.
Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi congratulated inauguration of the project in Afghanistan, saying TAPI was a dream a century ago and is now being implemented and would change the situation in the region. 
“Afghanistan plays central role in the project. I would like to thank President Ghani’s commitment for the project. I believe the project to bolster ties among regional countries,” Pakistani prime minister said. India’s Minister of State for External Affairs Mubashir Jaweed Akbar pointing to TAPI security said that ensuring security of this project is not only the responsibility of Afghanistan, but the member countries should cooperate in this aspect.
