Afghan 2018 APL to be held in UAE
 Addressing a press conference here in Kabul on Friday CEO of cricket Board Shafiq Stanekzay said, “Afghan Cricket Premier League would have no difference from Cricket leagues of other countries and it would be held like other cricket leagues with good initiative. It is very important that it would be held in 2018 in UAE. This is our promise Afghanistan would earn more ravenous from this source”.
In this competition five teams would be racing with the participation of 90 Afghan players plus tens prominent cricket players of the world.  According to Afghan Cricket authorities, all essential preparation have been taken for holding this competition and relevant contract would be signed with a company.
Beside this, every year Shpagiza competition is also held in Afghanistan and in this fifth round of this competition which was held last year in Kabul, about Afs 115m was invested. This is the first tiem that ACB takes preparation for holding of APL out of the country.
Sometimes before, Afghanistan cricket team under 19 attended a competition which was held in Kualalampur, Indonesia manage to defeat Pakistan cricket team and for the first time became champion of Asia. In recent years, Afghan cricket Board team attended several international competitions and gained silver and gold medals.
