NSA Atmar, Ambassador Jinsong discuss bilateral ties

KABUL: National Security Advisor (NSA) Mohammad Hanif Atmar met Chinese Ambassador to Kabul Liu Jinsong in his office yesterday, a statement said.

Supporting the three-day ceasefire in the country, Chinese Ambassador said national and regional consensus was existed for peace in Afghanistan. He also informed NSA Atmar on his country’s new policy of having a friendly tie with Afghanistan.

Welcoming Chinese new policy, NSA Atmar praised China’s effort for establishing peace in Afghanistan.

Besides discussing bilateral ties, both sides also talked on counter terrorism and the Afghan owned and led peace process. The Kabul Times
