President Ghani accepts credentials of new Turkmen Ambassador to Kabul

KABUL: President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani accepted credentials of the newly appointed Turkmen Ambassador to Kabul, Ovezov Hoja Sapargeldiye wich, here yesterday, a presidential statement said.
During the meeting, both sides discussed topics of mutual interest, including economic, trade and transit cooperation.
Wishing success to the newly appointed ambassador on his mission, President Ghani hinted to lasting relations between the two countries.
Meanwhile the president called creating development corridor, Azure road, TUTAP and TAPI projectsas key to stability in the region.
Calling Afghanistan friend of Turkmenistan, the Ambassador said the two countries’ relations were unprecedently bolstered in recent years.
He also praised President Ghani’s efforts for implementation of major projects and improving the bilateral relations between the two countries.
