Atmar steps down as NSA

KABUL: Mohammad Hanif Atamar, the National Security Adviser has resigned from his post on Saturday, Haroon Chakhansuri, presidential spokesman confirmed.
According to the source, Hamdullah Mohib, Afghanistan ambassador to U.S. was appointed as the national security adviser.
