President Ghani arrives New Delhi on a day-long visit

President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani on Wednesday arrived to  New Delhi for talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on bilateral ties and regional security situation.

Besides meeting Modi over lunch, President Ghani will also address a civic reception, organised by the India Foundation, before flying out on Wednesday evening.

The Afghan-India developmental partnership will also come up for discussion during President Ghani’s day-long visit. The president would answer questions from participants of the India Foundation meeting before returning home in the evening
