President Ghani pays tribute to coffin of Lt. Gen. Hussainkhil

KABUL: President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, Chief Executive Dr. Abdullah Abdullah and a number of government civil and military officials have paid tribute to coffin of NDS chief Lt. Gen. Abdul Momin Hussainkhil, who was martyred in a terrorist incident in the province on last Wednesday.

At the Ghazi Amanullah Khan Hospital, President Ghani and chief executive while praying for the soul of martyred Hussainkhil carried his coffin to particular location.

Offering condolence and sympathy to the families of martyred Hussainkhil and other martyrs of the terrorist incident, the country’s President said: “Martyred Lt. Gen. Abdul Momin Hussainkhil fulfilled all his mission with honesty and enemies of the people of Afghanistan should know that they won’t reach their vicious goals by launching such cowardly attacks.”

President Ghani asserted that the country’s defense and security forces would continue the path of Martyred Hussain and all other martyrs of the country.

Afterwards, chief executive spoke and while offering condolence to the family of Martyred Hussainkhil said martyred Hussainkhil had devoted his life for the people and was a faithful and brave person.

He added that enemies of the people of Afghanistan by perpetrating such crime have targeted the country’s national election process and brave sons.
