Taliban commander among 13 killed in RS airstrike

JALALABAD: A senior commander of Taliban terrorist group along with his 13 men were killed during drone raid led by Resolute Support forces in eastern Nangarhar province last night.
According to BNA, Ministry of National Defense press office stated that, the drone targeted terrorists’ hideouts in relevant areas of Hasarak district, Nangahar province, in which Abdul Jabar a top commander of Taliban group along with 13 others were killed.
According to another report, 20 terrorists were killed and 25 others were wounded during separate military operations led by Afghan security forces in Nari district, Kunar province and Noorgram district of Nooristan province.
The bodies of several insurgents have remained at the battlefield and some heavy and light weapons have been seized during the operations.
