President Ghani praises Japan for cooperation with Afghanistan

KABUL: President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani in a meeting the other day with Japan’s ambassador to Kabul Mitsuji Suzaka and JICA’s chairman Shinichi Kitaoka thanked the government of Japan and JICA on behalf of the people and government of Afghanistan for their cooperation in the field of implementation of infrastructural projects and supporting Kabul urban development sector.
In the meeting, JICA official delivered video data regarding Kabul relevant urban development projects to the President.
Praising the video data, the country’s President said that they would make use of the plan as a source for providing Kabul development sketch, adding that cultural and historic relations between the two countries were strong and Japan’s assistance to Afghanistan was comprehensive and effective.
