Taliban militants killed in Nangarhar battle

Jalalabad: Eight Taliban militants were killed in a conflict by security officials of Nangarhar province last night.
The militants were targeted in Khogyani district in their strongholds.
Media office of Nangarhar police commandment with releasing a statement said, eight militants were killed in the raid.
According to the statement, the militants were suppressed in their strongholds while organizing a series of terrorist attacks in Khogyani district.
Another report says, six armed Taliban were killed in a security forces raid in Urozgan province.
Reports say, the insurgents wanted to plant a mine on main road of Chora district, was shelling by ANA forces.
Atal army corps Media office said, six insurgents were killed in the raid.
