VP Danesh meets Chinese Ambassador to Kabul

KABUL: Chinese Ambassador to Kabul Liu Jinsong in a meeting with Second Vice-President, Sarwar Danesh assured him of his country’s continued cooperation with Afghanistan, a statement from his office said Monday.
Both sides discussed some issues on agenda, including mutual cooperation between the two countries, security, economy and culture as well as food packages for the people of Afghanistan, said the statement.
Peace process was also among the issues, the Chinese Ambassador said his country would continue cooperating in this field and that China was committed to cooperate Afghanistan in holding the upcoming presidential election, the statement added.
Vice-President Sarwar Danesh thanked the ambassador for his country’s readiness for cooperation with Afghanistan in provision of food packages and welcomed the friendly country’s effort for peace and presidential election in the country.
