FM Rabbani receives new ambassadors of UAE, France, Egypt and Netherlands

KABUL: Minister of Foreign Affairs Salahuddin Rabbani met ambassadors of United Arab Emirates, France, Arab Republic of Egypt and the Netherlands, a statement from MoFA said yesterday.
The said ambassadors paid courtesy calls on Foreign Minister Rabbani prior to presenting their credentials to President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, the statement added.
The Afghan Foreign Minister, meeting the ambassadors separately, briefly discussed with them bilateral ties between Afghanistan their respective countries.The new ambassadors expressed readiness to bolster ties including cooperation in some important areas, according to the statement.
The ambassadors were Eisa Salem Mohammed Al Daheri from UAE, David Martinon from France, Hany Saleh Mostafa Ahmad from the Arab Republic of Egypt, and Ernst Albert Noorman from the Netherlands, the statement concluded.
