VP Danesh meets Daikundi influential figures, youth

KABUL: Second Vice President Sarwar Danesh met with a number of Daikundi influential figures and youth during which the participants shared their demands with him, Bakhtar News Agency (BNA) reported on Sunday.
The participants called constructive cultural programs such as holding seminar on Faiz Mohammad Kateb Hazara, the suggestion to give the title of ‘National Unity Martyr’ to Ustad Shaheed Mazari and holding other cultural programs among the part of second VP office cultural achievements.
They also shared their security and health problems and challenges in a number of Daikundi districts and stressed on VP Danesh’s attention in this regard, the agency added.
Appreciating the participants’ presence, VP Danesh praised vast participation of Daikundi people in the parliamentary elections and said people’s presence in elections process acted like culture of democracy.
Pointing at recent insecurities in Patu district, VP Danesh said following the Afghan security forces and people’s cooperation, the enemy failed to reach its goal.
He also added that the participants’’ demands would be chased through the organs’ concerned. The Kabul Times
