Turkey to continue cooperation with Afghanistan, MoD

KABUL: At the sideline of Munich Security Conference, President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani received Turkish defense minister, the Presidential Palace said in a statement on Friday. During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on security issues, joint fighting terrorism and training of the Afghan National Police (ANP), according to the statement.
Besides, Turkish defense minister said his country was ready to cooperate with Afghanistan in various fields particularly training of ANP, the statement added.
Appreciating Turkey’s continued cooperation, President Ghani said we could uproot terrorism with regional cooperation and coordination.
