Sami Hamid appointed as senior advisor to President

KABUL: President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani in a decree has appointed Sami Hamid as senior advisor to presidential office.
“Based on verdict of constitution’s clause 13 of article 64, the appointment of Dr. Abdul Sami Hamid as senior advisor to President is approved,” the decree said.
As senior advisor to the country’s President, Dr. Hamid can attend cabinet meetings and other presidential high council meetings except meeting of national security council.
In the decree, Dr. Hamid is wished success in the new post.
