KABUL:Attended by Acting Minister of Information and Culture Hasina Safi, the ministry’s directors presented their annual activity reports during a hearing program here yesterday, BNA reported.
Addressing the inaugural session, minister Safi emphasized on transparency, accountability, coordination and effective works and called them as key priorities of the Ministry of Information and Culture (MoIC).
The minister went on saying that the meeting was organized to have the annual activity reports of the departments as well as to specify the problems and challenges existed before them.
Calling insufficient budget as one of the main problems before the ministry, the minister said sufficient budget was not considered for the solar year 1398 as it was expected.
The minister said that directors were not only the ones briefing about their activities, but the ministry’s leadership were also sharing their reports to the government leadership and even that of the nation.
Minister Safi said reporting program to be held every six months and the principle of rewards and punishments to be considered in the ministry.
The session was continued with delivering reports of a number of ministry’s directors, enumerating their achievements and problems.
Praising the departments’ works, deputy minister of admin, finance and tourism of the MoIC, Sayeda Mojgan Mostafavi, said reporting from activities of the departments were the key principles of the administration, asking the ministry’s directors to have comprehensive plan for the future.
