NUG leaders slam Helmand terrorist attack

KABUL: President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani and chief executive Dr. Abdullah Abdullah in separate statements condemned terrorist attack on a ceremony marking Farmer Day in Helmand, extended condolence and sympathy to the victim families and instructed relevant officials for aid to martyrs families and treatment of those wounded in the incident.
“Terrorists, who are the enemies of the country’s bright future and development, are always attacking on civil installations, ceremonies, occasions and public sites to spread fear and terror, and to conceal their defeat in the battlefield,” the statements said.
The statements added that terrorists by attacking on the festival of farmer in Lashkargah, provincial capital of Helmand, martyred and wounded a number of our countrymen.
