Minister Safi stresses on further strengthening of Afghan-China’s cultural ties

KABUL: The country’s Acting Minister of Information and Culture, Hasina Safi, in a meeting with the Chinese \delegation, said both countries has joint cultural relations, Bakhtar News Agency said Wednesday.
Discussing expansion of the two countries’ cultural relations, holding joint Afghan-China cultural week in Badakhshan province, joint research in Wakhan region of Badakhshan and research on spoken languages in Afghanistan, the agency said. The acting minister noted that the Ministry of Information and Culture was working on the museums strategy in Afghanistan and want to establish a museum in each provinces, according to the agency.
Meanwhile, the Chinese delegation called Afghan historical relics, the most precious relics in the Asian civilizations and asked for holding the exhibition of the relics of Mis-e-Ainak in China.
Minister Safi said that following official process step would be taken to exhibit the said relics in China, the statement continued. She went on as saying that strengthening cultural relations between the two countries would help further expand regional cooperation and people to people ties, the statement said.
