Using my father’s pension I attended international competitions for eminence of my homeland

Born in 1993 in a sport loving family, Sayed Ali Sina Radawi is student of a private university and one of the sportsmen of E.T.F Taekwondo Federation of MoI, holder of Black Belt-3 from the E.T.F International Taekwondo Federation. He is champion in 75 kg weight.
The Kabul Times reporter has made the following interview with him for his further recognition.
Talking on his sport background, Radawi said, due to enthusiasm and interest to sport and having a healthy body, I started professional exercises in 2002 under UStad Razeq and with intensive efforts and heavy perspiring in 2004 I gained membership of Olympic National Team.
He continued, I have achieved 6 gold and 2 silver medals from domestic competitions and one gold and three Bronze medals from international competitions.
Talking on his foreign visits, Radawi said, in 2008 I attended world competition in Uzbekistan but gained no medal. Then I continued my exercises and in 2011 I attended world competition in Pakistan and acquired a gold medal for Afghan sport community. In 2012 I attended Asian Games in Tajikistan and received a bronze medal. In 2013 I achieved another Bronze medal in Bulgaria. I would like to offer a sincere thank to Ustad Obaid Jalal and Abdul Basir Yusufi due to their moral and material attention to sportsmen and growth of their covert talents and capacities, paving the way for their foreign visits and their efforts to enable sportsmen to hoist the three colored flag of our beloved country.
Touching challenges ahead of sport, Ali Sina said, all sportsmen are facing economic problems and lack of exercising ground. For 13 years I was exercising in Eid Mohammad Sherzay sport association and often I was deprived of foreign visits. I had to use my father’s pension and attend international competitions.
My father had always told me that sportsmen are ambassadors of peace and sportsmena should earn pride through sport for eminence of their country and whenever you gain a medal, the Afghan nation is proud of you.
Suggesting to national traders and sport authorities, he said, these two should focus special attention to sportsmen. If we want to have a healthy society and people free from drugs, we should invest on sportsmen so these ambassadors of peace and national unity gain further honors to our dear homeland.
Sending his message, “our dear youth should resort to their favorite sport because it’s the only way to bring all people under a single umbrella of solidarity and convergence, he concluded”.
