Afghanistan, Belarus to sign MoUs on higher education, security, cultural cooperation

KABUL: Minister of Foreign Affairs of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Salahuddin Rabbani met with Belarus non-resident ambassador for Afghanistan in his office yesterday, a statement from the MoFA said.
The ambassador briefed FM Rabbani on his country’s Industry minister visit of Afghanistan and signing of MoUs with Ministries of Information and Culture, High Education and National Defense, the statement added.
FM Rabbani asked for opening of Belarus embassy in Afghanistan and the country’s investments in areas of agriculture, energy and capacity building of Afghan youth, the statement concluded as saying.
