Czech to continue supporting girls’ schools in Kabul: Ambassador

KABUL: Czech Embassy in Kabul signed an agreement with a private entity “Afghan Children for Afghans” here yesterday to support girls’ schools in the capital Kabul.

While signing agreement, Czech Ambassador Petr Stepanek told The Kabul Times that Czech Republic was committed to supporting girls’ education and this time the Embassy supported Manochehri high school.

The Ambassador assured that his country will continue its support for human development.

The Czech Republic supports the ongoing negotiations and hopes that peace will prevail in Afghanistan soon as it will make any donor’s support much more feasible.

Meanwhile in charge of the ‘Afghan Children for Afghans’ entity said that they have assisted a number of schools in Kabul through direct support of the Czech Republic and the process would be continued, aiming to improve girls’ education in Afghanistan.
