“Our goal is to protect properties,” President Ghani

KABUL: Chaired by President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, Coordination Committee to Pursue Cases on Land and Government Properties’ Usurpation held meeting at the Presidential Palace on Tuesday, Bakhtar News Agency (BNA) reported.
During the meeting, the participants shared their relevant administrations’ steps on prevention of land and properties’ usurpation, the agency added.
Appreciating the stakeholder administrations’ activities in fighting land and properties’ usurpation, the president said a joint view and coordination was needed to be created among the relevant administrations in this regard, BNA went on to say. Likewise, President Ghani instructed the ministry of urban development and lands to provide a clear map of government lands and properties, so hereafter, a clear address to exist in this respect.
He added that lands, townships, properties and illegal areas should be categorized, based on which, administrations can address their relevant affairs. Pointing that our goal is to protect properties, the president said this was each citizen’s legal right to have trustable land and property.
