First ‘Tourism National Policy’ draft prepared, Mostafavi

KABUL: Tourism National Policy draft which was prepared by the Ministry of Information and Culture went to polling on Wednesday, Bakhtar News Agency (BNA) reported.
According to the agency, in a meeting held yesterday, Deputy Minister of Information and Culture on Finance, Administrative and Tourism Affairs Sayeda Mojgan Mostafavi said the draft has been prepared for the first time.
She added the policy is inclusive and efforts are ongoing to execute it.
The policy would be sent to the cabinet after polling, she went on to say.
The policy was presented to participants by the Ministry of Information and Culture senior advisor on budget and tourism affairs Sayed Reza Maisam.
Pointing at importance of national tourism, threats, opportunities and suggestions, he said implementation of the policy would help attract more tourists and investments and pave the way for employment in the country.
At the end, the participants shared their views in the respect.
