KABUL: Leadership of the Ministry of Information and Culture in a message on the occasion of Laylat al-Qadr has asked the people to pray for peace, tranquility, prosperity and unity among the Afghan people and pray for ending the continued war.
“The Muslim people of Afghanistan has welcomed the holy month of Ramadan and are now on the threshold of celebration of Laylat al-Qadr. Marking the night, in which the Holy Quran was revealed on Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), the night when angels get ready for writing the affairs – and worship on this night is better than worshiping for a thousand months,” the message said.
The message added that on Laylat al-Qadr, doors of Almighty Allah’s mercy remain open and all sins are forgiven.
