President Ghani in London to attend Cricket World Cup match

KABUL: A statement from the Presidential Palace released to media on Sunday, said that President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Mohammad Ashraf Ghani has arrived in London on an official invitation from the British Prime Minister.

Leading a high-ranking delegation, the country’s president, during his stay, is expected to meet with the hosting country’s authorities and watch cricket match scheduled to be held between the two countries national teams, on Tuesday, 18 June, said the statement.
