CE orders reforms to confirmative voters’ registration process

KABUL: Chief Executive of the country’s National Unity Government (NUG), Dr. Abdullah Abdullah during a visit to the confirmative election registration process in the Kabul City’s second district instructed some reforms to be brought in the process of the confirmative voters’ registration, a statement from his office said Tuesday.
The CE, after searching for his name in the confirmative process said the people have not still given information about the way of their names registration, how to correct their names and that to make sure about their names registration, the statement quoted.
“The election commission should try not repeat the last election’s experience and facilitate for public awareness among the voters’ in order they make them sure that their names were in the voters’ list,” said the statement.
The CE warned that no one neither from the address of his office nor others should interfere in the election commission’s affairs.
