Presidential decree on establishing deputy office on governance, programs

President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani issued a decree on establishing a deputy office on governance and programs within general presidency of the presidential office’s structure and transferring a number of affairs administration’s general office sections. To create better coordination and follow the government’s work plans, following points have been approved. To establish a deputy office on governance and programs within general presidency of the presidential office, Mohammad Haroun Chakhansouri has been appointed as deputy of the governance and programs, and he should attend cabinet and presidential councils’ meetings. Approval of establishing a deputy office on governance and programs with the following structure:
– Cabinet affairs coordination directorate
– Presidential high councils’ coordination directorate
– Directorate to chase orders and instructions
– Presidential protocol directorate
– Special secretary aide unit
