KABUL: The Presidential Office on Sunday strongly condemned a deadly attack in which a number of Afghans including school children were martyred or injured.
A statement from the Presidential Press Office received to The Kabul Times called the attack a terrorist act and an anti-human crime which was carried out by the Taliban.
“Such attacks are contradicted with the Taliban saying and action on peace, as they are killing innocents on a daily basis, on one hand and chanting slogans of peace on the other,” said the statement.
The country’s president was quoted by the statement as saying Taliban would never get political concession in the ongoing peace talks, said the country’s president in the statement.
The country’s Chief Executive, Dr. Abdullah Abdullah also condemned the incident and said such attacks would never prevent the will of the Afghans for peace and security in the country.
“In today’s Afghanistan’s society Islamic Emirate and its violent approach and extremist Talibanism has no place,” the CE said. The country’s National Unity Government leaders instructed the organs concerned for immediate efforts in treatment of the wounded.
