Dr. Abdullah stresses preservation of ‘Jihad and Resistance Museum’ relics

KABUL: Chief Executive (CE) Dr. Abdullah Abdullah met with members of Mujahideen Solidarity Council here in his residence yesterday, a statement said.
Briefing the council members on peace process and upcoming presidential elections, Dr. Abdullah said Afghans demand durable peace and hoped Doha intra-Afghan dialogue could pave the way for direct Afghan government and Taliban talks, the statement from CE Press office said.
Hinting to council’s request for preservation of Jihad and Resistance Museum’s relics, CE Abdullah said that issue had been shared with ministry of defense officials and would never allow any damages to the museum.
Dr. Abdullah went on saying that cleaning of the museum to be done under supervision of the officials, so that damages to be prevented to the Jihad museum, the statement added.
