President Ghani, Saudi crown prince discuss peace, war on terror

KABUL: President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani has held a telephonic conversation with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman on security and the peace process.
Presidential Palace said in a tweet that both sides discussed the Afghan peace process, counterterrorism, market access for Afghan goods, Saudi’s contribution and role in regional connectivity.
Meanwhile, the Saudi Press Agency reported the two leaders conferred on support to the Afghan people and coordinating efforts to combat terrorism in order to promote stability in Afghanistan.
