University lecturers play key role in society: VP Danesh

KABUL: Second Vice President Mohammad Sarwar Danesh met with a number of university lecturers here in his office yesterday, a statement from VP press office said.
The university lecturers discussed upcoming elections, electoral campaigns and people’s awareness about the election process with the second vice president, saying Afghans willing a transparent presidential election, where no electoral teams influence the process.
The lecturers went on saying that people will support a team that to have a roadmap for future and development of the country, the statement added.
Praising the role of university lecturers in the society, VP Danesh asked them to play their key role in awareness of the people and their participation in the democratic processes.
