President Ghani Meets UN Deputy Secretary General

KABUL: President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani met with UN Deputy Secretary General Ms. Amina J. Mohammed at the Presidential Palace on Sunday, his office said in a statement.
Appreciating President Ghani’s efforts on bringing reforms in the government’s different administrations, Ms. Amina declared her support from an Afghan-owned and led peace and elections processes, the statement added.
She also expressed happiness over increasing women presence in the government’s different organizations particularly in decision making levels.
In his turn, the president while welcoming her, thanked UN continued cooperation with Afghanistan and stressed on bringing reforms in UN entities operational in the country.
