New Australian ambassador vows to improve bilateral relations

KABUL: New Ambassador of Australia in a meeting with the country’s Chief Executive Dr. Abdullah Abdullah pledged to do more for tightening relations between the two countries, the CE office said Wednesday.
During the complimentary meeting, CE Dr. Abdullah congratulated the new Australian Ambassador to Kabul for his new job and wished him success in his work in the future, the statement added.
Dr. Abdullah also thanked the friendly country of Australia for providing cooperation in the past 18 years with Afghanistan, the statement quoted.
He asked for further expansion of relation between the two countries, said the statement.
Meanwhile, the Australian ambassador assured to work for the improvement of relation between the two countries during his mission in Afghanistan.
