President Ghani performs Umrah, prays for peace in Afghanistan

KABUL: President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani and his accompanied delegation performed umrah during an official visit to Saudi Arabia.
After Tawaf al Umrah and praying in Masjid al Haram, the country’s President prayed for lasting peace and stability, consolidation of national unity, prosperity of Afghanistan people and the Muslim Ummah.
President Ghani and his accompanied delegation left for Jeddah soon after performing umrah. It is determined that the country’s president is going to meet with Salman bin e Abdul Aziz, Khadim Al-Haramain Al-Sharifain and King of Saudi Arabia and a number of other officials of that country during the second day of his visit to Saudi Arabia.
