Commander-in-Chief meeting discusses Ashura ceremony, Martyrs Week security

KABUL: Chaired by the country’s President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, the meeting of the Commander-in-Chief was held discussing security of Ashura Ceremony and the Martyrs Week, BNA reported the other day.
At the meeting attended by the country’s Chief Executive Dr. Abdullah Abdullah and Second Vice-President Mohammad Sarwar Danesh, the security officials shared their plan for security of the Ashura ceremony and the Martyrs Week, with the president who urged them to seriously focus on the two great days’ security, the agency said. The country’s president said the security institutions should coordinately work with the people commission, so that a firm plan to be taken for the security of the Ashura Day and the Martyrs Week, the agency quoted.
