MoIC asks immediate release of kidnapped journalists

KABUL: Ministry of Information and Culture (MoIC) has expressed concern over destiny of six journalists kidnapped in Paktia.

According to reports, Taliban have kidnapped the journalists who went to Zurmat City,  a district in Paktia for preparing report on Thursday.

Leadership of the Ministry of Information and Culture believes that journalists and media workers in consideration to the country’s laws are working impartially to prepare and report incidents in the country.

The Ministry of Information and Culture considered abducting the journalists as unacceptable and asked their release.
