AAA to be strengthened, President Ghani

KABUL: President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Mohammad Ashraf Ghani stressed the need for strengthening the Ariana Afghan Airline (AAA), saying anyone interfering in the company’s affairs would be taken to justice, the Presidential Palace said in a statement.
After hearing report about how to apply fundamental reforms to standardize the state-owned company’s financial, administrative, human, technical, operational and commercial affairs, the country’s president said an accurate program should be set to rehabilitate the Bakhtar Company and strengthen the Ariana Afghan Airline and report about its weekly development should be provided, the statement said.
Providing report about what was happening in the company, head of the company said that the company has now reduced the level of loss from 9 percent to 3 percent, according to the statement.
The president said those interfering in the company’s affairs would be taken to justice, the statement quoted.
