Dr. Abdullah attends praying ceremony of Tarakhil tribe

KABUL: Chief Executive Dr. Abdullah Abdullah has attended a praying ceremony held by the Tarakhil tribe to mourn the death of a member of Mawlavi Tarakhil Mohammadi family, here in Kabul, a statement from the CE said Sunday.
During the ceremony, Mawlavi Tarakhil Mohammadi tanked the Chief Executive of the National Unity Government for his participation in the mourning ceremony and said: “History will not forget your sacrifices and devotion which you said you were ready for every devotion for peace.”
Expressing his deep condolence to the recent deadly mosque bombing in the country’s eastern province of Nangarhar, resulting in the death of large number of worshipers, the CE said may the bloodshed and murdering end with the bless of the martyrs’ blood, the statement quoted.
“The people of Afghanistan have been the victim of war for 40 years and we are seeking ways to end war and conflict and restore peace in the country,” said the CE.
