Maintaining security of judges & prosecutors discussed

KABUL: President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani met yesterday with Chief Justice and Chairperson of the country’s Supreme Court Sayed Yousuf Halim and General Attorney Farid Hamidi at Presidential Palace.
In the meeting attended also by national security advisor Dr. Hamdullah Mohib and security officials, Chief Justice and Chairman of the Supreme Court and the country’s general attorney delivered their suggestion particularly for maintaining better security of judges, prosecutors and the country’s judicial institutions.
Stressing that employees of the country’s judicial organs were making effort towards rule of law in the country, they asserted that further attention should be paid to security and safety of the country’s prosecutors and judges, praising the country’s President for his continued support to judicial organs.
In the meeting, the country’s President said that enemies were against rule of law in the country and always wanted to harm the country’s judicial organs.
Meanwhile, national security advisor spoke and said that the country’s security organs would start working on a regular plan to maintain better security of judges, prosecutors and judicial institutions.
